Nope. First the economic downturn started during the end of the Clit'n andmistration, and the other issues that caused further downturns were direct results of poor leadership (9/11) and poor role models (corporate scandals) on the part of the Clit'n administration.

For eight years, we watched as Clit'n fiddled and diddled in the White House, setting the stage for huge messes that someone else would have to clean up.
