What is the difference betwwn trap, skeet and clay shooting? Thanks

YOu need to do a search for a good explination. Simple terms skeet is shot with open chokes and the clay pigons are thrown from a place oh the left and right. Trap is shot with full choke guns and the pigon is going away from you. Sporting clays is made to simulate hunting in the woods. The clays can come out in almost any direction.

One is 'thrown away' from you (trap), while the other is 'thrown from your left to right'...clay is the target you shoot in both-although there is a clay shooting where I think it's like a combination of the two in like a 'hunting' situation... Sr.
