I'm working with the information provided in the newspaper article. The cop bashers tend to ignore the facts and twist the story around to suit their needs and pacify their unhealthy hatred.
You also have to go with Occum's Razor a little bit. Letrice was getting an order of protection against her husband and neighbors commented that he had been violent to her in the past. Is it so hard for everyone (including the cop bashers) to believe her story?

Like the cops who kill unarmed, innocent people twist the story around to suit their needs and pacify their unhealthy hatred of non-whites in NYC?

Investigations are done BY THE COPS.
It has already been proven that a wallet is considered a deadly threat.
As is running away while unarmed and innocent.
COPS do not find other cops guilty.
Cops look the other way while 'fellow officers' commit crimes, and we expect them to hold fair and impartial inverstigations?
Tell that to the tens of thousands who were arrested for committing no crime under your hero, Ghoulee.
And when asked if you thought that there had been an unjustifed killing by police in the last ten years, you waffled, whined and refused to answer!
