I was recently given a rifle. It says US Remington model 1903 on the reciever. Serial is 323XXXX. The barel is stamped R A with a bomb burst and the date 8-42. It has the straight stock and the 2800 yard rear sight. The metalwork & stock are in excellent shape. It has a 4 groove barrel with a bright bore. It has AAP on the left side of the stock, a P behind the triggerguard and an A in front of the magazine floorplate. Can someone give me a rough estimate of the value of this rifle? Thanks, DAVE
