How where the original surface of sten guns treated ? The pictures on internet suggest either parkerizing or bluening/blackning of the surface.
I am altso curious of the factory stamp of one of the magazines i have in my collection, it reads SA inside a box.

All the kits I ever saw used in reenactments were painted. Including the kit I bought. I don't know about the SA stamp.
